With the shutdown time, you regulate how long the object is to wait for instructions after becoming inactive (ignition shut off, no other telemetry events).

Index

Summary

With the shutdown time, you regulate how long the object is to wait for instructions after becoming inactive (ignition shut off, no other telemetry events). For example, if you enter a shutdown time of 1 day, once the vehicle is turned off, the object will remain on standby for 1 day before turning itself off. Reactivation of the ignition restarts this shutdown time. Note please that the object uses about 200-250 mA at 12V in standby mode. Even with new car batteries with 80 ah or more, a shutdown time of more than 6 days only makes sense in the rarest cases. Also, please take into account that once an object has reached its adjusted shutdown time it will be unlocatable until the next ignition or until another telemetry input is reactived (e.g. an alarm system). TIP: Readjusting detection intervals (every X minutes) does not have any effect, i.e. interval settings do not extend the shutdown time!
