With QuickLinks you are able to get fast access to pages, which you are use often, with just one click. You will find already existing QuickLinks at the left handed side of the screen.

Summary

QuickLinks are divided in two categories:

• Company QuickLinks
• personal QuickLinks

Personal QuickLinks are created and visible just for yourself. Administrators are able to deactivate your personal QuickLinks.

Company QuickLinks can be created by Administrators only, they are visible and usable by everyone in the company.

Hints

If the option personal QuickLinks is set to off and you don't have administrative rights, you cannot create QuickLinks.

Functionality

Create

At each page supporting QuickLinks you find the QuickLink-Symbol at the QuickBar. Click on it to create a QuickLink.

Set a short and meaningful name. The name is used in the left area of the Yellowfox portal and is permanently visible.

Click on "save QuickLink" and "close" in the next dialog. Your new created QuickLink is now visible in the list of QuickLinks  and ready to use.

Edit

To rename a QuickLink click on edit at the QuickLink-Page. Change the name and save it. Administrators are possible to change the type of a QuickLink from Company to personal and vice versa.

Change order

At the QuickLink-Page you can reorder your QuickLinks. Click on one of the buttons "Sort to beginning/end", or "Sort up/down" to change the order of your QuickLinks. Be aware that lists for Company QuickLinks and personal QuickLinks are handled separately.

Delete

Click on the button "Delete" to remove a QuickLink from your List. This action cannot be undone, you have to create an new QuickLink for your page in such a case.

QuickLinks and the Report Center

The use of QuickLinks in association with the Report Center it is possible, to create report (e.g. the dayreport, velocity report...) for an object with only one click. Therefore the according report must be created as QuickLink.
