With the Search Assistant you are able to proceed bulky searches by position messages.

The search assistant is divided into 8 steps.

The query in step 1 and 2 are mandatory to proceed the search. The following steps are optional. To get the result just click on step 8.

You can also use search profiles to save settings for future searches

	map display	= show the selected positions on map
	select positions	= select/ unselect positions to display them on map
	previous	= One step back in the search
	next	= One step forward in the search
	reset	= reset the settings to default

prerequisite

The Search Assistant is available if you got the option fleet management respectivley the tariff Business or Profi booked for the vehicle.

Step 1

, Select vehicles

/1/ Select the car/s you want to search for. click on "next"

Step 2, Select time period

/2/ Please set the date and time period in which you want to search for. click Click on "next" to go to the next step.

Step 3, Limit by addresses

/3/ Please decide if you want to search for all addresses or if you want to restrict an address.

A Search for positions will show you when a object was at a specific location.

If you want to search by address you must enter the post address and the searching radius at the next step. With this function it it for example possible to search for objects which were in the near of 12345 Berlin.

The function "use address from address book" enables the search by vehicle position by a address from the address administration. For example you can search how long a vehicles with the YF-hardware was in the near of a specific customer (address must be added to the address book).

Please note that the search by position is not available if the data lock is active. click Click on "next"

Step 4,Limit by types of messages

/4/ Select the types of messages you want to search for. click Click on "next"

Step 5, Limit by state of ignition

/5/ If you choose all messages or specific for telemetry messages you are now able divide the telemetry messages again. click Click on "next"

Step 6, Limit by telemectric states

/6/ At telemetry messages it is only possible to select one port how caused the message, please select one of them. click Click on "next"

Step 7, Limit by speed

/7/ Now you will be asked if you want to search for messages where the vehicle's speed exceeded a particular value. Enter the value in case you want to search for it. click Click on "next"

Step 8

, Search Result

You will now receive a search result list matching your search terms.

If you want to display the messages on a map use the buttons from the QuickBar.
