Refers to order specific settings for displays.
Summary
Depending on used display the useable settings may differ. The settings can be changed via the following tabs:
Tab | Description |
---|---|
order state setting | Allow to define own state texts for an order. Optional a state text can be defined with an action. For Garmin displays this setting is not available. |
orders / forms | Some types of display allow to create a new order directly at the display. This menu allows to enable or disable the function and a custom form can be assigned to each order, created this way. |
order text layout | For Garmin displays the order and volume of elements can be changed. Changing this is similar to tab bar configuration. Additionally a preview will show an example result. |
Order state settings
general
Order states allow the driver to set the current status of the order. You are able to define 6 states at max. These states can be informative only or have influence on the order itself. The following changes can be done by a state:
Action | Description |
---|---|
no action | State is only informative. |
set order as active | Sets the order to active. For orders with navigation target and an appropiate display, the navigation can be started. |
delete order from display | Deletes the order from the display and sets it to done in portal |
The order of states in portal is the same which will be used on display. To edit it, click on the arrows in overview page.
Create / Edit
To add a new order state, click on create new order state. If you have already defined 6 order states, this input is not available. To edit an existing order state, click on the symbol in overview page.
An order state is defined by a status text and optional actions and idents. The status text can be 20 chars long at max. Furthermore you are able to set a translation for each order state. If the driver is using the display in another language and the corresponding translation is defined, the driver will see this translation. If there is no translation provided, the german text will be displayed by default.
If a state was pressed on display, this can influence the order itself. You can set if firing a state should set the order to active or delete it.
The ident is a technical identification attribute. It can be displayed while accessing order management via interfaces like RTI or the TourWS to clearly recognize a state.
Assignment
You need to explicitly send the set order states to the corresponding displays. This is also needed for synchronizing changes in already available states! The input mask allows the selection of single displays, groups or all. Only displays which are compatible to user-defined order states and to which the portal user owns the corresponding vehicle rights will be shown.
Please notice that multilingual order states and idents are only available from FleetApp version 4.0.5.5 and beyond.
tour states
general
Tour states are very similar to order states. Currently tours can only be accessed via TourWS. By using this it is also possible to access tours by various interfaces and import tour data to external programs. It might be necessary to adjust the status configuration to the desired interface. YellowFox offers a variety of predefined tour status configurations, which you can edit and send to your vehicles.
edit configuration
Please choose the desired software from dropdown menu first. Please notice that you can only save one distinct configuration. If you have chosen a configuration before, did now select another and finish the process by clicking on save, all adjustments for the previous configuration will be discarded.
If you have chosen a software, all by interface predefined status messages will be displayed underneath. You are able to deactivate single messages for your drivers. You are not able to add own status.
A tour state is defined by an internal id. The shown text can be individually adjusted. Furthermore you are able to set a translation for each tour state. If the driver is using the display in another language and the corresponding translation is defined, the driver will see this translation. If there is no translation provided, the german text will be displayed by default.
Beside the internal id defined by interface, you can additionally set an ident as an user-defined identification attribute. This can be displayed while accessing tours via TourWS optionally.

Orders / forms
Common
For supported displays you can (de)activate the function to create orders directly at the display here. Furthermore a default custom form can be set, which will be appended to each order, created on the display. Therefore the custom form must be available at the display!
Assignment
The first limitation of general visible objects is done by their support of order creation. If a form to append selected, only the checkboxes for displays, supporting this form, stay clickable. For other objects the checkbox will be disabled.
Order text layout
Common
This setting is only available if only garmin displays with proprietary FMI interface used. So the structure of the visible order text can be adjustet to use the available text length as best as possible. Therefore the text elements can be moved from and to the order text elements area and sorted in the desired direction there. To get a feeling for the resulting messages, right below is an example text area.
Elements
The following elements are available:
Name | Description |
---|---|
date | If an arrival time was planned, showing the date part. |
time | If an arrival time was planned, showing the time part. If date and time are assigned in this order, they will be connected to a datetime element |
order text | the order text itself. This text must be part of the submitted order text. |
order number | The self defined order number per order |
sort number | Optional a sort number can be added to an order to help the driver, executing the orders in the correct way. |
contact informations | If a created order was assigned to a customer from address book and for this customer at least one contact person was assigned, this according contact informations (name, phone number) will be added to the text. |
navigation target | The navigation target always will be submitted internally but this way the driver can not see this target. So this will enable the option, that the driver can see the navigation target address as shown on order creation. |
